At Jozzon, we believe that superior water treatment solutions are built on a foundation of technical mastery. Our deep understanding of the fundamental principles governing reverse osmosis—from water chemistry to system dynamics—drives every innovation we bring to market. This commitment to technical excellence positions Jozzon as a leader in the global membrane technology landscape.

The Science Behind the Solution
Reverse osmosis operates on a simple yet powerful principle: applying pressure greater than osmotic pressure to separate contaminants from water through a semipermeable membrane. While the concept is straightforward, true expertise lies in navigating the complex variables that determine system performance and longevity.
Our technical proficiency spans the full spectrum of water quality parameters. We understand that hardness, alkalinity, COD, BOD, and TOC aren’t just metrics—they’re critical indicators that influence membrane selection, system design, and operational strategy. For instance, our membranes are engineered to perform optimally within the pH range of 6–8, where rejection rates peak, and we design systems with strict adherence to SDI values below 5.0 and turbidity under 1 NTU.
Innovation at Every Level
What sets Jozzon apart is our ability to translate scientific understanding into tangible performance advantages.
1. Advanced Membrane Chemistry
Our proprietary approach to membrane surface modification achieves what many in the industry consider the “holy grail”: charge-neutral membrane surfaces. By neutralizing the residual electrical charges that naturally attract dissolved solids, we dramatically reduce fouling rates and extend membrane life. This isn’t just incremental improvement—it’s a fundamental rethinking of membrane interface dynamics.
2. Intelligent System Design
Our expertise extends beyond membrane chemistry to system architecture. The Jozzon end-cap vortex technology, developed through computational fluid dynamics simulations, creates turbulence within membrane elements that increases flow velocity, enhances fouling resistance, and reduces pressure drop. Meanwhile, our 34-mil feed spacers provide wider channels that minimize pressure loss and facilitate more effective cleaning—critical advantages in challenging industrial applications.
3. Proven Performance in Demanding Environments
Theory meets reality in our track record. In November 2025, Jozzon was awarded the contract to supply all 6,484 reverse osmosis membranes for China Coal Ordos Energy Chemical Co.’s mega-scale mine water treatment project—the first comprehensive deployment of domestically manufactured RO membranes in a project of this scale.
This facility processes 3,000 m³/h of high-salinity mine water with TDS ranging from 3,100 to 16,700 mg/L, transforming it into purified water meeting Class III surface water quality standards. Our JBW-8040-400/34-FR enhanced fouling-resistant membranes and JSW-8040-440 high-pressure membranes operate in tandem to achieve final salinity below 1,000 mg/L, demonstrating the robustness and reliability of Jozzon technology.
The Jozzon Advantage
Our technical foundation is backed by world-class manufacturing capabilities. With an annual production capacity exceeding 3 million m² and a research and development team comprising more than 60% bachelor’s degree or above professionals, Jozzon maintains rigorous quality control across every stage of production.
From our pioneering work in dry membrane element manufacturing to our success in advancing China’s membrane technology from follower to leader, Jozzon continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in water treatment.
