CO2 Capture Membranes
Jozzon independently researches, develops, and manufactures various types of industrial gas separation membranes, which are primarily used in the separation of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, methane and hydrogen, hydrogen and carbon dioxide, as well as VOCs, among others.
1. Natural gas purification: removing CO₂, improving energy quality and saving pipeline transportation costs.
2. Carbon reduction: recovering CO₂.
3. Biogas purification: Separating CO from biogas₂ and methane to produce biogas.
4. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR): Injecting captured CO₂ into oil wells to improve crude oil recovery rates.
5. Treatment of VOC emissions from various enterprises.

Product Overview
In collaboration with institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Sinopec Nanhua Research Institute, the company has established China’s only “high-performance CO₂ capture and separation membrane production line.” Jozzon is currently the only enterprise in China capable of independently developing and manufacturing CO₂ separation membranes. This product fills a domestic gap and holds a leading position globally.
In October 2021, China’s first 50,000 Nm³/d industrial demonstration facility for CO₂ capture from boiler flue gas was completed at Sinopec Nanhua Group. The facility uses a three-stage CO₂ capture membrane system to concentrate CO₂ in boiler flue gas—which has a concentration of 12–14%—to 95%, achieving a gas utilization rate of 90%. This process differs from the traditional “solvent absorption method” in that it requires no chemical agents, involves no phase change, and operates at ambient temperature, offering advantages such as environmental friendliness, simple operation, and a skid-mounted design.
