27th April 2026, 6,484 PCS domestically produced seawater reverse osmosis membrane elements, equipped with a “Chinese core” for water treatment, successfully rolled off the production line in Dongying. These high-salt membranes are destined for the China Coal Ordos Tuoke Coal Mine deep water treatment project. This achievement demonstrates complete self-sufficiency and control over the entire chain, from core materials to production processes, breaking the long-standing foreign monopoly and enabling the purification and reuse of high-salt mine water. This demonstrates how independent innovation safeguards national water security.
